Trimble to expand its MRM solutions with Punch Telematix

Following Trimble’s acquisition of Punch Telematix, the company is now looking to grow its European business by offering a full solution set to both light commercial vehicle (LCV) and heavy goods vehicle (HGV) market across Europe. Trimble will be attending the IAA – the largest transportation event in Germany for the first time to meet customers, explain the acquisition in more detail and present the companies’ vision for the future.

Collaboration with Punch Telematix extended until 2014. St. van den Brink ‘leaner & greener’ with CarCube Driving Style Wizard and Truck Navigation.

Thanks to the carrier’s positive experiences with the CarCube onboard computer and its productive cooperation with Punch Telematix, last week St. van den Brink extended its contract with Punch Telematix until 2014. “We have already had a good relationship with Punch Telematix since 2007. They are reliable partners who think out solutions along with us and continuously develop the on-board computer,” said Gerrit Jan Mulder, finance director at St. van den Brink in Ermelo.
Mulder is very happy with the Punch Telematix Driving Style Analysis and Truck Navigation systems. St. van den Brink was one of the first carriers to install the new Punch Telematix truck navigation system in its 200 trucks used for supplying well-known supermarket and retail chains. (Read more)

Transport SME Bonnier equips its 15 vehicles with CarCubes

Link streamlines its fleet management with Punch Telematix

Boosting competitiveness through investment in technological innovation: To update its fleet management, the Polish company Link SP. z o.o has installed the Punch Telematix CarCube solution in 200 of its lorries. The onboard computer can locate individual vehicles in real time as well as offering a wide range of additional functions, including logging of driving and vehicle data, navigation assistance, text message communication and transmission of transport orders from the InterLAN shipping application. As an extension of the telematics system, Link is also using a document scanner which is capable of importing original DIN A4 documents and transmitting them without distortion to the accounts department.
