Michel Van Maercke

Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial & Operations Officer

Michel Van Maercke (°1974) was appointed CEO of Punch Telematix o, October 2009. He will continue his task as CFO, which he started in May 2007. Before that, since January 2006 he was General Manager of Punch Campus in Namestovo, Slovakia. He began his career as an auditor with KPMG in Belgium, and then worked for three years in various financial and management functions at Elementis Specialties. Michel Van Maercke is Master in Applied Economics (UFSIA, Belgium).

Frédéric Boes

Chief Technical Officer

Frédéric Boes (°1964) is CTO at Punch Telematix. He started his international career with Philips, and in 1989, he set up Advantra which forms the foundation of the present-day Punch Telematix, which was taken over in 2001 by parent company Punch. He also founded Punch Electronique, a Punch subsidiary. He is also general manager of SpaceChecker, a sister company of Punch Telematix. Frédéric Boes is Electronic Engineer and was also trained at Vlerick Management School.

Vice President Sales and Product Management

Carsten Holtrup (°1970) since January 2008 Country Manager Punch Telematix Germany, has been appointed as VP Sales and Product Management. He started his career as Industrial Manager at the Etex Group and has over ten years experience in various commercial functions in the transport sector (Wilhelm Haver, LIS AG, Qualcomm). Carsten Holtrup studied economics (BA, specialising in sales & marketing) at the Warendorf Business School in Germany.
